Description

This lovable, little Turtle is carved from white pine, has inletted metal legs, and brass tack eyes. He measures apprx. 5 ½” long x 1 ¾” high x 3 ½” wide (with fins).

~ Ice fishing decoys were used for centuries to lure fish through a hole in the ice to within spear range. This is still a popular sport in the Great Lake areas. Hollywood portrayed this style of fishing in the Grumpy Old Men movies. Our loveable little Turtle would be a great addition to any fish decoy collection.
